Loudoun Water is a public utility serving eastern Loudoun County. We seek a motivated Instrumentation / Control System Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair control system equipment including PLCs, VFDs, and SCADA systems.

ISA CCST Level 1 or Electrical Apprenticeship certification or ability to obtain within 12 months is preferred. Requirements include minimum two years of vocational electronics training or coursework and four years of instrumentation experience,

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of specialized vocational training or college-level electronics coursework.
• Four years of experience in instrumentation/electronic systems; three years with industrial control systems.
• Experience with process control sensors (flow, level, pressure, analysis).
• Experience with computer-based maintenance management systems, and UPS is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair or replace industrial control system equipment.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, SCADA systems, and related sensors in water industry operations.
• Ability to work on-call or overtime as needed.

We are seeking a highly motivated, team oriented Instrumentation / Control System Technician with problem solving skills to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair or replace a wide variety of industrial control system equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives (VFDs), Supervisory, Control, and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, process sensors, and other electronic equipment related to the water industry. ISA CCST Level 1 certification, Electrical Apprenticeship certification, or the ability to obtain either within 12 months.

Requirements: Minimum two years of specialized vocational training or college-level coursework in electronics and four years experience in the instrumentation/electronic systems; with three years with industrial control systems; preferably in water distribution and sewer utility operations. Experience with process control sensors (flow, level, pressure, analysis, etc.); preferably in water distribution and sewer utility operations. Experience with computer-based maintenance management systems, Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and UPS also desired. Ability to work oncall status and/or overtime as needed.

Salary Range: $62,195 - $76,016 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Position will remain open until filled. EOE
