Job summary

Evonik is seeking an Instrumentation Technician at Tippecanoe Laboratories in Lafayette, IN. This role supports capital and maintenance efforts, collaborating with maintenance, engineering, and operations to maximize equipment uptime.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in industrial instrumentation, an electronics-related associate degree, and strong mechanical and documentation skills. A $3500 sign-on bonus is offered, with commitment to safety and cGMP standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of industrial instrumentation experience.
Associate degree or technical training in electronics.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturer service manuals.
Strong verbal and written communication; commitment to safety and proper PPE.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation and lab equipment.
Execute preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment compliance.
Accurately document all work activities and time in SAP.
Follow procedures and instructions while adhering to safety standards.
Collaborate with maintenance, reliability, automation, plant/process engineering, and operations.
