Job summary

CaroMont Health is hiring for positions in sterile processing and surgical case cart processing. Responsibilities include decontamination, instrument processing, assembly, sterilization, and cleaning of equipment, with emphasis on maintaining CEU certifications and professional credentials.

Positions cover 2nd and 3rd shift as well as part-time day shifts. Applicants should hold CRCST or CBSPD certification or equivalent, communicate effectively, and follow written instructions.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Performs all functions related to sterile processing and surgical case cart processing in accordance with established standards. These functions, include, but are not limited to, decontamination, surgical instrument processing, instrument/instrument set assembly, sterilization, surgical case cart assembly and medical equipment cleaning/disinfection. Personally responsible for obtaining CEU's, bookkeeping and applications to maintain professional Certification.

Qualifications

• Certified (and maintains) Instrument Technician Certification (i.e. CRCST or CBSPD) or related equivalent certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Ability to follow written instructions, ability to use computers and other mechanical equipment.
