Job summary

Northside Hospital in the Atlanta area is seeking an Instrument Technician to disinfect, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.

The ideal candidate will recognize surgical instruments and trays used in applicable areas, with 1 year of Instrument Technician experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Work Hours: 7a-7:30p.

REQUIRED

• High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.
• One (1) year experience as an Instrument Technician

PREFERRED

• Central Service Technician Certification:
• Inpatient sterile processing CRCST or CSPDT certification.
• Outpatient sterile processing CRCST, CSPDT or CASSPT certification.
• For GI Labs, CFER is acceptable.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
