Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an Instrument Technician to disinfect, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments and equipment. The role requires recognizing instruments and trays typical for the area.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of Instrument Technician experience, and preferred CSPDT/CRCST/CASSPT certifications. The work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and the position is on site in the Atlanta area.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or post-secondary education is required.
  • One year experience as an Instrument Technician is required.
  • Preferred certifications: Central Service Technician Certification, CRCST, CSPDT, CASSPT; CFER acceptable for GI Labs.
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

  • Outpatient sterile processing CRCST, CSPDT or CASSPT certification.
  • For GI Labs, CFER is acceptable.
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
