Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree or five years of equivalent work experience in engineering or related discipline.
- Experience applying complex scientific and engineering principles to technical services.
- Experience with data analysis and development of prototypes, equipment, or systems.
- Ability to write clear documentation and maintain research protocols.
- Experience supervising technicians and staff; strong collaboration with diverse teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead efforts among diverse groups to support instruments and experiments.
- Provide technical expertise for maintenance, development, and upgrades of systems.
- Oversee technicians and support staff in daily work and training.
- Prepare drawings, material lists, requisitions, and engineering change requests.
- Plan and execute instrument installations and supervise maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument controls and vacuum delivery systems.
