Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) in Decatur, IL is seeking an Instrument Planner to assist with planning and coordinating preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for instrumentation systems. The candidate should have 3+ years in instrumentation trades, strong CMMS and MS Office skills, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

  • Experience with CMMS and MS Office
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals
  • 3+ years of instrumentation experience or related trades knowledge
  • Experience in supervision, planning, or project management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations to identify instrumentation needs and prioritize tasks
  • Maintain and update maintenance records and work orders; inspect reports
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for maintenance tasks
  • Complete parts kitting and verify availability of parts, prints and procedures
  • Investigate re-work to determine root causes and advise R&M Manager
  • Schedule preventive maintenance and inspections of critical safety devices
  • Assist with planning for downtime and production decreases
  • Manage instrumentation work order backlog and coordinate special equipment/services
  • All other duties as assigned
