Job summary

NESC Staffing LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an Instrument Fitter with oil and gas field experience to install, service and repair pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. You will read P&ID diagrams, lay out, measure and bend tubing to fit design packages, ensuring a safe and functional system that meets customer specifications.

Level 2 pays $23-$29/hour and Level 3 pays $27-$34/hour. A High School Diploma or GED is desired, and successful background checks and safety testing are required for

Qualifications

• Read and interpret P&ID, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams for installation.
• Layout, measure and bend tubing to fit design packages safely.
• Understand customer requirements quickly and present fitting solutions.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems used in installations.
• Work with tubing trays, clamps, and basic shop tools with minimal supervision.

Instrument Fitter 2/3 Day Shift

7 + year as Instrument Fitter in Oil & Gas Field

Level 2 - $23.00 - $29.00

Level 3 - $27.00 - $34.00

Summary:

Responsible for installing, servicing and repairing of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment: consistently work to meet customer specification in a neat timely and accurate manner, excellent communications skills.

Job Description:

• Ability to read and interpret P&ID, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams to perform installation.
• Ability to lay out, measure and bend tubing based on the specifications of the drawing to fit the design packages insuring a safe and functional system.
• Must be able to understand customer's requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs.
• Knowledge of various pneumatic and hydraulics systems.
• Measures, cuts, assembles tubing tray and support systems.
• Installing tubing and clamps into tubing tray systems.
• Measures, cuts, ream, bends, assemble and install single line and group of tubing.
• Proficient in the use of tools of the trade.
• Able to recognize and avoid safety hazards and dangers.
• All above functions performed with minimal supervision.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED desired.
