Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to perform on-site calibration and instrumentation support within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant calibration of temperature, pressure, and flow instruments across multiple production areas. The technician will work closely with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to support equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site calibration and verification of instruments across manufacturing and production areas.
- Calibrate and maintain temperature, pressure, and flow measurement devices.
- Support in-house calibration teams by managing and using certified test standards and equipment.
- Document all calibration activities in the PROCAL system, with transition to IndySoft in the future.
- Travel between on-site buildings using company vehicles to complete assigned calibration work.
- Provide automation and maintenance support related to calibration systems and equipment.
- Follow site SOPs, GMP, and safety procedures at all times.
- Participate in specialized training on site‑specific calibration and metrology processes.
- Support audits, inspections, and quality reviews by providing accurate calibration documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of calibration principles, metrology, and instrumentation standards.
- Hands‑on experience with industrial instrumentation systems.
- Technical expertise in temperature, pressure, and flow measurements.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑based manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable working in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device manufacturing.
- Willingness to complete site‑specific training and follow documented procedures.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PROCAL, IndySoft, or similar calibration management systems.
- Background in GMP‑regulated manufacturing.
- Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, or process control environments.
- Strong documentation and attention to detail.
