Job summary

MAV Project Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide instrument electrical expertise across capital projects in a petrochemical context. You will ensure safety, reliability, and compliance from concept through commissioning, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Project teams in a hands-on engineering role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• 1–10 years of electrical engineering experience in petrochemical or related high-hazard process industries.
• Experience supporting electrical engineering across multiple project lifecycle phases.
• Proven ability to interface with EPCs, vendors, inspectors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide instrument electrical engineering expertise and technical judgment to capital projects.
• Lead electrical design bases, datasheets, and vendor deliverables for assigned scopes.
• Coordinate with disciplines to ensure integrated, constructable, and compliant solutions.
• Support construction, commissioning, and handover including RFI management and documentation.
• Participate in risk assessments, MOC activities, and VIPs as needed.
