Job summary

The role requires CSP experience or a related bachelor's degree with appropriate certifications, plus strong collaboration skills to support Surgical Services and maintain instrument availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year Central Sterile Processing (CSP) experience or two years CSP experience with CRCST/CIS/CER/CHL or related certifications
• Experience with instrument tracking software such as SPM is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration with OR teams and SPD management

Responsibilities

• Coordinate instrumentation needed for the following day with the OR schedule
• Order replacement instrumentation and refurbish damaged/missing items
• Determine appropriate container sizes and assemble instrument sets per standards
• Assist with tray optimization and inventory management
• Act as liaison between Surgical Services and SPD to prioritize needs
• Maintain organized instrument storage and track inventory
• Audit instrument trays and case carts for completeness
