Job summary

NYU Langone Health in West Palm Beach is seeking an Instrument Coordinator for the SPD day shift to manage instrument tray builds, inventory, and coordination with the OR schedule for the next day’s procedures. This role ensures accurate instrument availability and timely turnover.

The successful candidate will hold CSP certification (HSPA or CBSPD) or have equivalent experience, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and communicate effectively with Surgical Services, vendors, and

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent CSP experience.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) credential required or equivalent.
• 3+ years preferred with instrument knowledge and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate instrumentation for the next day’s OR schedule.
• Order replacement instrumentation and refurbish damaged/missing items.
• Assist with instrument tray optimization and cost-saving inventory strategies.
• Maintain organized instrument storage and ensure accurate count sheets.
