Job summary

Flowserve US Inc in the United States seeks an experienced assembler to follow approved procedures to assemble control valves, actuators, positioners and accessories, using BOMs, drawings and routings.

You will read engineering drawings, set up and test valves, document activities, maintain a safe workstation, and collaborate with quality, engineering and planning teams to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Read and follow engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, industrial manufacturing, or related technical environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented work while maintaining quality and traceability.
• Safely lift and position components and assemblies as required by the work area.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valve components per approved procedures, BOMs, drawings and routings.
• Install and align valve trim components and accessories.
• Assemble and wire pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, or digital positioners as applicable.
• Set up, stroke, calibrate and test valves and positioners for proper operation.
• Perform dimensional inspections with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Identify and correct assembly issues such as misalignment or leaks.
• Read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams and quality requirements.
• Verify materials and parts match production orders and BOMs.
• Document assembly, inspection, calibration and testing activities accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per 5S and EHS requirements.
• Report quality concerns and opportunities for process improvement.
