Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Electronics or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience interpreting mechanical parts and assembly drawings.
  • Experience with electrical circuits and diagrams and use of measurement tools.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and resolve failures on instrumentation and automation systems within the laboratory.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior staff.
  • Contribute to root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance and calibrations of laboratory instrumentation.
  • Document service activities in accordance with GDP and regulatory standards (OSHA, FDA, ISO, CLIA).
  • Develop technical proficiency and share knowledge with peers.
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external teams.
  • Support workflow optimizations by updating procedures.
