University of Wisconsin – La Crosse is recruiting for an Instructor Pool within IPSE to support program needs. Roles involve teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses face-to-face, hybrid, or online, curriculum development, assessment, and student advising.

The University of Wisconsin – La Crosse maintains an ongoing search for potential instructors to support program needs. Selected candidates from this pool will work under the general supervision of the relevant department chair and be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Instruction will be delivered face‑to‑face, hybrid, or online, and will include curriculum development, assessment of student performance, maintaining records, providing feedback, holding office hours, and advising students or providing other departmental service as required.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom, online, or laboratory instruction and assess student performance.
• Develop instructional design and curriculum relevant to the course of instruction.
• Serve as the primary contact for students regarding course content and expectations.

These responsibilities may be supplemented with additional duties assigned by the chair or dean.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in a field appropriate to the needs of the department, or significant progress toward a doctorate degree, or, in rare circumstances, post‑baccalaureate certification or licensure, or a baccalaureate plus relevant experience can be considered appropriate qualifications. Depending on the program, specific certification/licensure or clinical experience may be required.
