Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a TC3 trainer to deliver comprehensive medical training to military personnel at our Johnston, IA facility. The role covers all four TC3 tiers (ASM/Tier I, CLS/Tier II, CM/Tier III, CP/Tier IV) and requires maintaining high standards of safety and assessment.

You will instruct 68W Combat Medic sustainment training and CLS for non-medical personnel, and conduct classroom, lab, and field sessions while ensuring proper instructor-to-student ratios and adherence to MEDCoE

Qualifications

• Must be able to deliver TC3 training across multiple tiers and assess student performance.
• Instruct CLS/68W sustainment training to mixed audiences in varied environments.
• Maintain compliance with MEDCoE directives and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver TC3 training across all four tiers: ASM/Tier I, CLS/Tier II, CM/Tier III, CP/Tier IV.

• Assess students' critical thinking and psychomotor skills under high-fidelity simulations.
• Support throughput of at least 2,500 68W students annually across MSTC sites.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Deliver TC3 training across all four tiers: All Service Members (ASM/Tier I), Combat Lifesaver (CLS/Tier II), Combat Medic (CM/Tier III), and Combat Paramedic (CP/Tier IV)
• Instruct 68W Combat Medic sustainment training and CLS initial/sustainment training to non‑medical personnel
• Conduct training in classroom, laboratory, and field training/evaluation environments
• Maintain proper instructor‑to‑student ratios per MEDCoE directives
• Instruct mixed populations of Soldiers — both inexperienced and seasoned — in class sizes directed by the medical proponent
• Assess students' critical thinking and psychomotor skills under high‑fidelity simulated conditions
• Support a projected minimum throughput of at least 2,500 68W students annually across all MSTC sites

Requirements

• Must meet ONE of the following: Former 68W or 18D Noncommissioned Officer (NCO), Advanced Leader Course (ALC) Graduate
• Former Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman, E‑6 or above
• Former Air Force 4NOX1 or Aerospace Medical Service (4NOX1), E‑6 or above
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician (MD/DO)
• Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Demonstrates expertise in delivering TC3 training across multiple tiers, including Combat Medic and Combat Paramedic instruction, while effectively assessing students' skills in high‑fidelity simulated environments. Holds relevant medical qualifications and certifications to support training delivery and maintain compliance with MEDCoE directives.
