Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced medical training instructor to support a Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) at Fort Bliss. The role delivers standardized, high-fidelity medical training and operates simulation systems to ensure compliance with performance standards.

You will maintain required certifications and support training execution across TC3 tiers I–IV, aligning with MEDCoE directives and instructor-to-student ratios to meet throughput goals.

Qualifications

• Must meet ONE of the following: Former 68W or 18D NCO, ALC Graduate
• Former Navy NEC 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman, E-6 or above
• Former Air Force 4NOX1 or Aerospace Medical Service (4NOX1), E-6 or above
• Currently licensed RN/PA/MD/DO
• NREMT EMT level or higher
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide medically credentialed instruction and operational support in an MSTC environment.
• Deliver standardized, high-fidelity medical training and operate simulation systems.
• Maintain certifications and support training execution per contractual performance standards.
• Deliver TC3 training across ASM/Tier I, CLS/Tier II, CM/Tier III, and CP/Tier IV.

Job description

Provide medically credentialed instruction and operational support in a Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) environment.

Deliver standardized, high‑fidelity medical training, operating simulation systems, maintaining certifications, and supporting training execution in accordance with contractual performance standards.

Deliver TC3 training across all four tiers: All Service Members (ASM/Tier I), Combat Lifesaver (CLS/Tier II), Combat Medic (CM/Tier III), and Combat Paramedic (CP/Tier IV).

Maintain proper instructor‑to‑student ratios per MEDCoE directives: Classroom lecture 1:24, Classroom practical exercise 1:6, Invasive procedures 1:1, Skills validation testing 1:1 per casualty.

Support a projected minimum throughput of at least 2,500 68W students annually across all MSTC sites.

Requirements

• Must meet ONE of the following: Former 68W or 18D Noncommissioned Officer (NCO), Advanced Leader Course (ALC) Graduate
• Former Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman, E-6 or above
• Former Air Force 4NOX1 or Aerospace Medical Service (4NOX1), E-6 or above
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician (MD/DO)
• National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) at the EMT level or higher
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
