Responsibilities

• For Instructor of the Practice - teach 30 credits of lectureand laboratory courses in cybersecurity each academic year. ForAssistant Professor – teach 24 credits of lecture and laboratorycourses in cybersecurity each academic year.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of programs and projectsin Cybersecurity and related areas.
• Perform defined campus-wide duties including holding officehours, attending department, college, and division facultymeetings, and adhering to University policy and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• To be considered for the Instructor of the Practice a Master’sdegree in Cybersecurity or closely related field by Spring 2027 isrequired. A terminal degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering,Computer Science, or related field is required to be considered forthe Assistant Professor.
• Industry experience strongly preferred. Interest in IndustrialControl Systems security preferred.
• Prior teaching experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with acommitment to collegiality and teamwork are desired.
• An interest in active learning, experiential learning, andstudent engagement is also desirable.

Supplemental Information

Position Details, Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time(9-month) professional-track or tenure-track faculty position.
• Faculty service with pay and benefits starting July 1, 2027.
• Annualsalary of $73,000 - $77,000 for Instructor of the Practice or$90,000 - $94,000 for Assistant Professor with additionalcompensation available for optional summer/overload teaching.
