Job summary

College of Western Idaho (CWI) invites applications for an Instructor in Game Development and Esports Management. Faculty teach assigned classes, advise students, and support college initiatives across campus locations.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging lectures and labs, developing curriculum with industry alignment, and participating in college and community service activities. A minimum of three years’ industry experience and current certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ industry experience in IT/Networking.
• Current industry certifications required.
• Willingness to communicate clearly and work cooperatively.
• Ability to teach using lectures, labs, distance learning and technology.
• Commitment to professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver organized, engaging lectures and labs aligned with IT/Networking curriculum.
• Prepare materials, assessments, and instructional resources to support student learning.
• Provide timely feedback; manage attendance, grades, and advising hours.
• Maintain an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
• Engage with industry to ensure curriculum aligns with current needs.
