Duties and Responsibilities

• 60% Teaching 15 credit hours per semester in various modalities (face to face, online, virtual, virtual concurrent) and at various campuses as needed by the college, preparing course material and student assessments, holding regular office hours, collaborating with chair and other department faculty on curriculum development and revision, and other teaching related activities as defined by the college.
• 20% Serving on committees, participating in recruitment activities, advising students, working registration events, attending meetings, graduation, and convocation, and other service as defined by the college.
• 20% Participating in professional development and activities that promote professional growth and enhance the competence and knowledge as a teacher and/or as a professional in the discipline.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Master\'s Degree with a minimum of 18 credit hours in graduate-level English classes will be considered.
• Required Experience: Master\'s Degree with minimum of 18 credit hours in graduate-level English classes will be considered.
• Preferred Experience: 2 yrs. full-time teaching at community or senior college; online teaching experience.
