Job summary

Universal Technical Institute in Bloomfield, NJ is seeking an experienced Diesel Instructor to educate the next generation of technicians. You’ll bring diesel engine expertise to a hands-on classroom, lead demonstrations, and mentor students toward real-world diagnostic and repair skills.

With a strong emphasis on safety and curriculum growth, you’ll collaborate with the education team to expand courses and ensure industry relevance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 4 years of practical work experience in diesel or related field (last 10 years).
• Certifications: ASE certifications are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate: create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Hands-on training: lead demonstrations and diagnose/repair diesel engines.
