Job summary

Code Ninjas of Gulf Breeze is seeking a passionate Sensei to coach and engage students aged 5 and up in a fun, safe learning environment. You will guide them through games and coding activities, assess progress, and share feedback with families after tours.

Ideal candidates enjoy teaching and mentoring, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and collaborate well with others. Training and development opportunities are provided to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring, coaching or tutoring children aged 5 and up.
• Experience working with the general public.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring or child care.
• Works well with others; collaborates.
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to pick up basic concepts quickly.
• Enjoys fast-paced environments where requirements can change.

Responsibilities

• Training – go through the curriculum and learn it.
• Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow.
• Work with children to determine skill sets.
• Provide feedback to parents after working with a student who is on a tour.
• Follow opening/closing duties daily.
• Keep dojo clean to meet corporate standards.
• Report weekly to Center Assistant Manager on progress.
• Report daily to Center Manager with respect to day’s activities and productivity in dojo.
