Job summary

Management & Training Corporation is hiring a full-time instructor at the Clearfield, UT Job Corps Center. You will provide instruction to students within approved curricula in alignment with government and company directives.

Responsibilities include guiding learners, coordinating with counselors, developing lessons, and ensuring a safe training environment while supporting youth education and career readiness.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED required.
• Utah teaching certificate with endorsement in Computer Maintenance Technician OR six years' experience with CompTIA A+.
• Experience with youth and strong written/verbal communication required.

What you'll be doing:

Responsible for providing instruction to students within existing Job Corps training curricula in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential Functions

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/ or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes, and supplemental materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe training environment.

Education And Experience Requirements

• HSD/ GED required
• Utah state teaching certificate with an endorsement in Computer Maintenance Technician OR six (6) years' experience with a Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A= certification
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
