Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) in Clearfield, UT, is seeking an instructor to provide training to Job Corps students within approved curricula and in compliance with government and company directives. You will deliver instruction, motivate and counsel students, coordinate with counselors, develop lesson plans, and maintain a safe, organized training environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Utah teaching certificate with endorsement in Computer Maintenance

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• Utah teaching certificate with endorsement in Computer Maintenance Technician OR six years' experience with CompTIA A+ certification.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/ or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes, and supplemental materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe training environment.

Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday 7:45am to 4:45pm
