Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a dedicated staff member to monitor resident students on dorm floors, enforce Center rules, and support safety and wellbeing at the Clearfield Job Corps Center.

This full-time role offers varied shifts, opportunities for career advancement, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience working with youth.
• A valid driver license in the state where the facility is located with an acceptable driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor dormitories to ensure safety and proper behavior of students.
• Assist with recreational activities for students on and off center.
• Direct students and assist in the cleanup and maintenance of dormitory.
• Promote, support, and positive customer service through the facility.
• Participate in student employability program and activities.

Job Description

Schedule – Varies, Full Time, 8hr shifts with some overtime possibilities

Swing Shift

• Thursday through Sunday- 3:30 pm to 12:30 am (2/32 hrs.)
• Monday through Wednesday- 3:30 pm to 12:30 am and Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm (2/40 hrs.)

Graveyard Shift

• Tuesday through Saturday & Thursday through Monday - 12:00 am to 8:00am (2/40 hrs.)
• Sunday through Wednesday - 12:00 am to 8:00 am (2/32 hrs.)

On-call

possibility of working a variety of shifts – afternoon, evenings, nights, and weekends.

What you will be doing:

You’ll be responsible for monitors students that live on residential floors to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the Center. Fosters an atmosphere conducive to character development through the encouragement of favorable behavior patterns. Facilitates prompt and appropriate assistance in the event of injury, illness, traumatic experience, and emotionalism; responsible for documenting student activity and incidences.
