Instructor Caregiver for Day Program-Rosemead

Job Title: Day Program Instructor Caregiver

Hourly Rate: $18.00-19.00

Shifts Needed: 7:30AM- 3:30PM

Job Status: Full-Time

Work Location: Rosemead, CA

Responsibilities:

• Outline and prepare daily routines based on Individual Program Plans.
• Assist with bathroom needs and changing clothing if needed.
• Prepare and assist with meals and clean-up.
• Support clients with daily living and vocational activities.
• Transport clients via company vans if necessary.
• Participate in assessment, planning, and evaluation processes.
• Document client notes and communicate with supervisors.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Preferably 1 year supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• California Driver’s License required.
• Must pass background checks.
• Willing to obtain Direct Support Professional Certification Year 1 & 2 and CPI within 6 months if not already certified.
• Must have First Aid / CPR certification.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 50 lbs.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Work Environment:

No remote work available.
