An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Instructor/Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy to join their renowned Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. USC's Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy invites applicants for a full-time clinical track faculty position to provide outpatient clinical services in our physical therapy department at Keck Hospital of USC. This position includes direct patient care responsibilities for multiple populations with an emphasis in the cardiovascular and pulmonary service line. The outpatient service line involves assessing and making recommendations for patients prior to heart/lung transplant as well as rehabilitating these patients post-transplant. We also treat various other cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions including cystic fibrosis, idiopathic lung disease, COPD, scleroderma, and pulmonary hypertension. Program development will be a focused component of this position, and there will also be opportunities for lectures, teaching, clinical research, and mentoring.
The Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy has a strong reputation for excellence in physical therapy education. We seek an individual with a doctoral degree in physical therapy, preferably with two years' experience treating patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions. Outpatient management experience is preferred. Board certification is preferred. Candidates with a Master's degree will be considered if they have at least three years of relevant experience and expertise.
The annual base salary range for this position is $72,000 - $100,000.
