Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy (OPEN RANK)

Position: Clinical Manager of Occupational Therapy Services

Location: Keck Hospital of USC & Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, Los Angeles, California

The University of Southern California's Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy invites applications for a full-time clinical faculty position serving as Clinical Manager. The Clinical Manager reports to the Associate Chair of Occupational Therapy Clinical Services and collaborates with current Clinical Managers and hospital leadership.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing daily operations of occupational therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings
2. Monitoring expenses and budgets
3. Overseeing performance and resolving interpersonal issues among faculty and staff
4. Developing and implementing quality and performance improvement programs
5. Promoting and marketing occupational therapy services
6. Participating in recruitment and training of faculty, staff, students, and residents
7. Ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
8. Providing direct clinical services as needed
9. Mentoring USC occupational therapy students and residents
10. Engaging in scholarly activities
11. Performing additional duties as assigned by the Associate Chair

Qualifications:

• Leadership and management experience, preferably in outpatient settings
• Significant experience in adult physical rehabilitation
• Current occupational therapy license in California

Position start date: 07/01/2024

Salary range: $95,000 - $115,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
