Job summary

The YMCA of Metro Denver is seeking a Part-Time Swim Instructor to lead engaging swim lessons for all ages, create a safe and inclusive learning environment, and promote water safety. You’ll work a flexible, part-time schedule and receive support and training from a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred or obtained within 30 days.
• Excellent communication and listening skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead swim lessons for children and adults.
• Maintain pool safety and enforce rules.
• Keep attendance and level skill sheets.
• Communicate schedule changes to participants/parents.
• Support YMCA campaigns and policies.

The individual will be responsible for providing a safe swim instruction for participants.
