Responsibilities

Instructors will support students through just-in-time interventions embedded in classes, targeted support outside of class hours, and co‑teaching collaborations. They will model best practices, deepen learning in a culturally responsive manner, and advocate for social justice to close achievement gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, English, Social Studies, or equivalent, with a teaching license.
• Post Baccalaureate Teaching Certification preferred.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Teaching experience with underserved populations or education in a STEM related field.
• Maintain necessary credentials and ongoing professional development in accordance with the Higher Learning Commission, WTCS Faculty Quality Assurance System, other program accreditation or occupational licensures, and state and federal law.
