Job summary

Tulane University is seeking a PhD-level researcher to advance cancer biology research in a collaborative setting. You will work with faculty to publish findings, present results through posters, and assist in developing grant proposals for federally funded programs.

The role includes mentoring students and trainees, providing timely assessments, and coordinating experiments and resource allocation within the lab. An established track record in related fields is expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required in Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cancer research or stromal cell biology.

Job description

Serves as an academic role model and mentor for medical, allied health, and graduate students and/or other trainees, encouraging trainee participation in mentored research projects and other scholarly activities. Provides both verbal and written assessment as required, in a timely fashion.

Coordinates experiments, ensures that research resources are properly allocated, and makes recommendations for future allocation of research resources.

Qualifications

1. Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences or related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in cancer research or stromal cell biology.
