Tulane University Translational Science Institute in New Orleans, LA, is seeking a research staff member to conduct experiments focused on cell signaling in cancer biology. Responsibilities include working on cellular biology assays and maintaining laboratory equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience, with a preference for those skilled in molecular techniques.
Responsible for performing experiments investigating cell signaling in cancer biology research. Works with the research team to perform cellular biology assays and animal models of breast cancer. Necessary experiments include those involving molecular biology and Cell Biology, in adherence with the Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) in place. Assists with supplies, maintaining equipment, and general laboratory maintenance.
