Job summary

Wayside Youth & Family Support Network in Framingham, MA seeks a part-time Technology Specialist to lead technology integration across teaching and learning in a 220 day/12 month setting. You will support teachers to enhance instruction and help students become tech-savvy, in collaboration with the Academy team.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Education, a minimum of 1+ year in academic settings with instructional technology, and licensure or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, required.
• Experience with instructional technology in classroom settings.
• Academic Specialist Licensure in Instructional Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Model effective instructional strategies using technology in a co-teaching environment.
• Use and support current technology and resources in the classroom.
• Coordinate with school personnel on technology resources.
• Design technology-based instructional strategies using data.
• Develop and review instructional technology practices (Podcast, Blogs, Apps, Google Classroom).
• Train staff in use of appropriate technology resources.
