Job summary

Southern Nuclear is seeking an Instructional Technologist at Plant Vogtle 3&4 to lead proficiency initiatives across departments, implementing INPO 24-001 standards and innovative training methods. You will work with instructional staff to ensure top-tier training skills, incorporating modern technologies such as AR/VR and interactive video training.

Responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of initial training programs, coordinating fleet-wide instructor training, and mentoring staff

Qualifications

4-year degree in education/training or related field with 2+ years training experience.
Associates degree with 4+ years training experience.
In lieu of degree, 6+ years education/training experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain integrity of initial training programs and ensure compliance with ACAD 02-001 and SAT principles.
Lead INPO 23-001 Teaching and Learning and INPO 24-001 Proficiency initiatives across departments.
Develop instructional skills and integration of innovative methods (interactive video, AR/VR, on-demand learning).
Coordinate logistics, communications, and facilitator selection for fleet-wide training.
Mentor instructors to develop NRC/INPO-compliant programs.
Conduct instructor evaluations and recommend development activities.
Design and evaluate SNC Initial Instructor Certification Program.
