Job summary

CAE is seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Design (ISD) professional to perform JTA, Training Task Analysis, and TSRA for KC-46 maintenance training, ensuring traceability of curriculum to customer requirements.

The role emphasizes proposal support, development of instructional content, and compliance with QMS and security requirements. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for DoD clearance are required; travel and overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ISD, adult education or related technical field is required.
• Five years of ISD experience with military or civilian aircraft training.
• Proven ability to conduct Job Task Analysis (JTA) and Training Task Analysis.
• Experience performing Gap Analysis and Training Systems Requirements Analysis (TSRA).
• Maintain Task Traceability Matrices (T3M) to ensure curriculum alignment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills for data analysis and large datasets.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to interface with SMEs and customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct JTA and Training Task Analysis to define performance requirements and learning domains.
• Perform Gap Analyses and TSRA to define technical and environmental requirements.
• Develop and manage Task Traceability Matrices (T3M) to map objectives to tasks and customer needs.
• Support development of instructional content: hierarchies, syllabi, scenarios, assessments.
• Prepare ISD proposal deliverables and write instructional narratives and designs.
• Ensure ISD documentation complies with QMS and customer ISD processes.
• Collaborate with Site Management, Project Managers and SMEs to align methods with specs.
• Contribute to tools and process improvements for ISD efficiency and accuracy.
• Attend customer meetings and prepare required materials or slides.
• Maintain traceability across baseline and updated ISD documentation per QMS.
