Job summary

Quality Analytics Associates (QAA) is seeking an instructional systems designer to support ongoing and future needs. The role involves analyzing training requirements, inventorying existing resources, and designing virtual sessions to drive effective learning outcomes.

You will develop modular, reusable templates using Agile methods and produce LMS-ready modules and assessments. Experience with adult learning principles, SME collaboration, and courseware tools (Articulate, Captivate, Adobe CS)

Qualifications

• Experience with adult learning principles.
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts.
• Experience with courseware authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, Adobe CS).
• Experience with Agile development methods and LMS platforms such as Blackboard.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a high-level needs analysis.

• Design and facilitate 4–6 small and large group virtual listening sessions.
• Identify key learning paths and curriculum elements by audience.
• Develop reusable Agile templates including storyboards, modules, activities, and assessments.
• Develop training modules and tests for uploading into the LMS.
• Develop exercises, tests, and scenario-based assessments.
• Create short learning checks and video segments.

Salary: $75,000.00 (negotiable)

Summary: Quality Analytics Associates (QAA) is accepting resumes for qualified instructional systems designer. This is an open opportunity based on future needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a high-level needs analysis
• Using material provided, compile an inventory of existing training resources for multiple uses
• Design and facilitate 4–6 small and large group virtual listening sessions
• Identify key learning paths/curriculum elements depending on audience
• Develop a list of educational needs not addressed (e.g., field training/evaluations)
• Develop reusable templates for Agile development to include storyboards, module introductions, activities, and assessments
• Develop training modules and associated tests for uploading into the LMS
• Activities may include:
  • Identifying core learning objectives (existing and new)
  • Reformatting, editing, and updating existing training content
  • Converting webinars and in-person training to online formats
  • Recording voice-over slides using scripts and materials provided
  • Developing new training storyboards and modules with SME support
  • Developing exercises, tests, and scenario-based assessments
  • Creating short learning checks
  • Designing short video segments (10 minutes) and fact sheets
• The number, format, and length of lessons may change based on needs analysis, SME input, and instructional design review.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience with adult learning principles
• Experience with collaborating with subject matter experts
• Experience with courseware authoring tools (i.e., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Experience with Agile development methods
• Experience with the Blackboard LMS
