Instructional Systems Designer (ISD)

Who You Are & What You’ll Do
- Design and develop a curriculum consisting of 5 courses (25–30 modules each) covering the full asset lifecycle, financial management, and legal compliance.
- Deliver both classroom and virtual instruction, employing adult education principles, blended learning, workshops, simulations, case studies, and microlearning events.
- Assess learner outcomes and evaluate program effectiveness continually.
Requirements
- Current or obtainable Public Trust security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, adult education, curriculum and instruction, or related field (graduate degree preferred); or at least ten (10) years of equivalent experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience with formal training and instructional techniques, including classroom and virtual instruction.
- Proven instructional track record in both physical classroom and virtual environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access; Visio (process mapping); and Project (timeline/milestone tracking).
- Experience managing virtual sessions and tracking enrollment through MS Teams, Webex, and federal/institutional LMS platforms.
- Full-time onsite employment in Arlington, Virginia required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $80,000 – $105,000 annually.
- Salary is determined by education, certifications, experience, and contract factors.
