Job summary

Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) is seeking an Associate Instructor to support classroom instruction and provide academic intervention across school and community settings.

Under supervision of school administration, the Associate Instructor will assist with small-group instruction, data entry in the district portal, and collaboration with teachers to reinforce reading, language arts, math, and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university.
• Experience providing classroom support and instruction.
• Ability to work with diverse learners and adapt to student needs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily functions of the school including arrival, dismissal, lunch coverage, and classroom coverage.
• Provide small group instruction and intervene with students as directed.
• Collect, track, and enter student data into the district portal.
• Support administration of state, district, and school assessments.
• Accompany and supervise students on field trips.
• Assist with classroom preparations and instructional materials.
