Job summary

Jacksonville North Pulaski School District is seeking a Para-Educator - Instructional for the ALE classroom to support middle school pull-out core classes. This role reports to the Building Principal and runs for the 2026-2027 school year (180 days).

Responsibilities include assisting with instructional activities, preparing materials, and helping with daily classroom duties, lunchroom, and buses, while following district policies and participating in in-services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Paraprofessional Certification or Associates Degree required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing instructional activities for students as directed by teacher/principal.
• Provide support to meet individual student needs with a firm but calm demeanor.
• Assist in preparation of lesson plans, instructional materials, and data collection.
• Assist with lunchroom, recess, and bus duties as assigned.
• Maintain classroom and adhere to district policies and school guidelines.
