Job summary

Midland Independent School District is seeking a seasoned Coordinator of Resource Management to oversee instructional materials lifecycle and warehouse logistics district-wide. You will lead a team, ensure TEKS compliance, and optimize inventory control.

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the role emphasizes budgeting, requisitions, and cross-department collaboration to deliver timely, accurate resources for campuses and learners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of management and professional experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience supervising finance or accounting teams and managing large-scale budgets preferred.
• Experience with inventory management systems (2 years preferred).
• Previous supervisory experience in a logistics, warehouse, or educational setting preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, inventory databases, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead IMTA and manage all requisitions, allotments, and disbursements to ensure district guidelines are followed.
• Implement, maintain and manage a district-wide inventory management system for instructional materials.
• Lead the annual certification process to ensure all students have access to instructional materials covering TEKS.
• Strategically manage the IMTA biennium budget for traditional and OER funding.
• Establish a rigorous auditing cycle with annual physical inventories.
• Collaborate with districts accounting, purchasing, and distribution services.
• Develop and train a network of Campus Instructional Materials Coordinators.
