Chimes International Limited is seeking an experienced school administrator to lead instructional quality and oversee special education compliance in a Maryland setting. The role partners with the Principal to drive observation-based feedback, PLC leadership, and data-informed decisions to raise student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Administration or Educational Leadership.
• Maryland Administrator I or II Certification (or eligibility).
• Experience in special education, school leadership, or supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of IEP laws, IDEA, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Principal to lead and sustain high quality instruction across classrooms.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide growth-focused feedback.
• Support data-driven decisions to improve student outcomes.
• Facilitate PLCs and instructional best practices.
• Oversee IEP development, implementation, and monitoring in line with IDEA/MSDE.
• Chair IEP meetings and ensure documentation compliance.
• Support behavior interventions, including FBA and BIP development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and related service providers.
• Foster a safe, inclusive school culture and promote PBIS.
• Ensure daily operations, scheduling, staffing, and systems management.
• Assist audits, reporting, and accreditation processes; support compliance.
• Serve as acting school leader in the Principal's absence.
• Engage families and community partners; lead effective communication strategies.
• Mentor new teachers and drive professional development initiatives.
