Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions seeks an EPP Instructional Lead to design, develop, and present instructional materials aligned with TEKS, ELPS, and Texas Educator Standards. This role acts as the pedagogical core of the program, ensuring candidate engagement and academic success.

The position emphasizes curriculum development, instructional delivery, and candidate coaching, with collaboration across departments to deliver effective professional learning.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Education or related field required.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certification required.
• Texas Principal Certification (Preferred).
• ESL and/or Gifted certification (Preferred).
• Certified T-TESS appraiser (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Curriculum & Instruction: Lead the development, implementation, review, and revision of program curricula, instructional strategies, and assessments.
• Instructional Delivery: Lead interactive training sessions in accordance with EPP and cohort schedules.
• Canvas Instruction: Monitor online discussion boards and assignment submissions; provide qualitative feedback within 48 hours to support candidate growth.
• Professional Learning: Collaborate with the Educator Preparation & Advancement and Professional Development departments to develop and deliver effective professional learning for teacher candidates.
• Instructional Coaching: Provide direct coaching and support to teacher candidates to ensure content mastery and classroom readiness.
• Quality Assurance: Review courses and supporting materials annually for QM standards and TAC compliance.
