Job summary

Disney Vacation Club Learning & Development is seeking an instructional designer to partner with subject matter experts and leaders to analyze learning needs, design learner-centered experiences, and deliver content across e-learning, instructor-led, virtual, and blended formats. You will report to the Manager, Learning & Development and work in a full-time role in Celebration, FL.

You will develop objectives, scripts, storyboards, facilitator guides, and assessments using tools like Articulate

Qualifications

3+ years of instructional design, learning development, content development, or related experience.
Experience designing learning solutions across multiple modalities, including instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
Experience using e-learning authoring tools and content development platforms.

Responsibilities

Create engaging learning experiences that help Cast Members build knowledge, develop skills, and drive business results.
Identify learning needs, design and develop innovative solutions, leverage learning technologies, and measure effectiveness to ensure learning programs support performance improvement and organizational goals.
Apply instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE) to create effective learning solutions across delivery methods.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to align learning solutions with organizational goals and provide recommendations based on best practices.
