Overview

Instructional Designer – Learning & Development. This range is provided by Seneca Resources. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.



Compensation

Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $30.00/hr



What You’ll Do


  • Plan and design courses, curricula, and training programs (online, classroom, and blended).

  • Develop engaging instructional materials using eLearning tools, graphics, games, and multimedia.

  • Set up courses and assignments in the LMS; create reports to track completion.

  • Conduct needs assessments to understand training gaps and propose learning solutions.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and update materials as needed.

  • Collaborate with trainers, subject matter experts, and business leaders to ensure accuracy and impact.

  • Deliver presentations and support trainers with classroom and virtual delivery.

  • Manage multiple instructional design projects with minimal supervision.



What We’re Looking For


  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience designing instructional materials and learning experiences (online & instructor-led).

  • Strong knowledge of instructional theories, adult learning principles, and design models (e.g., ADDIE).

  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Proficiency with authoring tools and multimedia for course development.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

  • Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and translate complex processes into simple, clear learning content.



Preferred (nice to have)


  • Experience with multimedia training and digital learning tools.

  • Familiarity with corporate learning environments or financial services industry.
