Plan and manage instructional design projects and initiatives
Develop instructional courses tailored to Navy Federal and learner needs
Collaborate on strategies for educating and training employees to improve performance
Define and sequence instructional content and strategies
Create curricula by processing large volumes of information and researching subject matter
Advise and assist trainers on course evaluation results
Plan and design courses and curricula; ensure content accuracy and test multimedia elements
Conduct needs assessments and provide customized training or individual guidance
Create and edit LMS learning activities, training assignments, and custom LMS reports
Create instructional and training materials using current technologies
Develop and test course content, training games, graphic designs, and technology-driven products
Develop classroom, online, and independent learning content
Develop instructional strategies and courses for business-unit and cross-company products and skills
Evaluate course, learning-product, and delivery-method effectiveness
Participate in instructional design project teams with multiple deliverables and significant risk and complexity
Select instructional approaches and appropriate design and development modelsTrain internal team members on classroom materials, including ILT and VILT environments
Integrate feedback, assessments, and evaluations into training content and delivery
Present to various groups, including executive leadership
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to adapt to fluctuating work-flow

Experience evaluating the effectiveness of courses, learning products, and delivery methods
Experience researching/writing course content and/or developing courses, demonstrations, graphic designs, and technology-driven products
Advanced knowledge of instructional theories, educational psychology, educational theory, tools, and resources
Working knowledge of instructional design for products, processes, and/or skills
Advanced skill influencing, leading, and/or guiding others toward goals
Effective database and presentation software skills
Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective skill capturing and translating processes and requirements into understandable terms
Effective collaboration with external and internal technical and/or functional contacts

Bachelor's Degree in Education, business, communication, behavioral sciences, training development, or related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
