Job summary

SOSI is seeking a Training Curriculum Developer to design, develop, and refine training programs for a government customer onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA. The role focuses on creating accessible, effective content and learning experiences aligned with 508 compliance and learner success.

Ideal candidates hold a DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree, and 2–4 years in curriculum development, with strong writing, editing, and LMS proficiency to support ongoing training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 2–4 years of curriculum development experience.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce diverse training materials.
• Experience documenting, tracking, and reporting curriculum progress and outcomes.
• Experience supporting government users with instructional content refinement and end-user testing.
• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to build high-quality curriculum.
• Ability to research and develop instructionally sound content and learning objectives.
• Experience creating training requirements, materials, and evaluation plans.
• Proficiency with learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with government personnel to develop curricula that improve learner outcomes.
• Assess student needs and identify knowledge or skill gaps.
• Evaluate instructional methods and recommend enhancements.
• Establish clear learning goals and objectives.
• Develop comprehensive learning plans aligned with goals.
• Create, organize, and maintain curriculum materials for instruction.
• Review educational tools such as software, books, videos, and digital resources.
• Partner with the team to design and deliver training on digital accessibility topics.
