Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises seeks an Instructional Designer to develop engaging training content for multiple business lines and markets. You will create online content, assessments, and facilitator materials, and apply instructional technologies to measure impact and improve programs.

The role requires overseeing live training materials, training-instructor teams, and collaborating with subject matter experts to define needs and deliver effective learning experiences across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelors-equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4-6 years in a service or sales environment, Club business function or related area. Preferred.
• 1-3 years using instructional technologies to develop online courses for adult learners, with ADDIE or Kirkpatrick.
• Able to facilitate training via web conferencing and use surveys/polls for engagement.
• Proactive, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to self-manage, multi-task, and work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develops online content including outlines, scripts, testing, and uploading content.
• Creates course materials for participant and facilitator guides, workbooks, manuals, and job aids.
• Provides evaluative feedback and prepares reports on training outcomes for management.
• Trains employees in rollout environments and conducts train-the-trainer sessions.
• Collaborates with SMEs to define needs and creates training outlines for approval.
