Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia in Savannah, GA is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop engaging training content and curriculum for staff and community workshops, applying ADDIE and other models, and to create online modules, videos, and blended learning.

The role collaborates with subject matter experts, aligns materials with organizational goals and compliance, manages project timelines, and maintains a library of resources while staying current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or specialized certifications in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
• 1+3 years of experience designing training content and curriculum.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools and multimedia design.
• Technologically proficient in digital tools, training design & authoring software (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Canva) and collaboration tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy).

Responsibilities

• Design interactive, learner-centered training materials.
• Contributes to storyboarding, authoring and development of e-learning content, and blended learning solutions as well as multimedia resources.
• Collaborate with cross department partners and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Develop online modules, videos, and multimedia resources.
• Desings and develops supporting aides for print, classroom and on-the-job training materials.
• Aligns training materials, curriculum, and guides with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Manages timelines, schedules, resources and deliverables for instructional design projects.
• Evaluate and revise training materials for effectiveness.
• Analyze learner feedback and performance data to continuously refine instructional strategies.
• Maintains a training content library.
• Stay updated on instructional design best practices.
