Job summary

AbbVie OneHUB’s People Excellence team is seeking a creative Instructional Designer to design engaging, high-quality learning experiences across eLearning, video, graphics, simulations, and job aids. You will collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure content aligns with adult learning principles and corporate standards.

You will manage tasks with increasing ownership, contribute independently to content development, and support continuous improvement in learning quality and effectiveness,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in adult learning, instructional design, or training development; pharma/regulated industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging learning content including eLearning modules, videos, graphics, simulations, and job aids aligned to adult learning principles and standards.
• Translate complex information into learner-friendly experiences to support knowledge transfer and performance improvement.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to define learning needs and appropriate instructional approaches.
• Monitor learning effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work onsite 3 days per week in Abbott Park and collaborate in a team environment.
