Job summary

TPI Global Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Instructional Designer with strong project management skills to join our team. The IDE will apply adult learning principles and design methodologies to create engaging online and classroom training solutions.

The role collaborates with SMEs, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver effective learning programs, serve as the client liaison for the subsidiary, and manage multiple design projects from intake to LMS launch, ensuring timely delivery

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience developing eLearning/web-based training.
• Hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Vyond.
• Strong writing, research, editing, and content development skills.
• Familiarity with standard style guides and content standards.
• Proven project management experience, including managing multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full course development lifecycle, from intake through launch in the LMS.
• Design, develop, and revise eLearning and classroom-based instructional content.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create effective learning experiences.
• Develop engaging web-based training using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Vyond.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather requirements, validate content, and ensure training objectives are met.
• Launch, test, and troubleshoot learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Manage multiple instructional design projects, timelines, deliverables, and priorities.
• Maintain clear communication and coordination between Consumers Energy, subsidiary stakeholders, SMEs, and project teams.
• Prepare quarterly reports detailing training costs for billing purposes.
• Conduct research, writing, editing, and content development in accordance with applicable company standards and style guides.
• Support other instructional design and training-related activities as needed based on project requirements.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Instructional Designer with strong project management skills to join our team. The Instructional Designer will apply adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and company standards to create and revise engaging online and classroom training solutions.

This role will support a specific subsidiary of client and will involve working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and internal teams to develop effective learning solutions that meet both business and learner needs.

The Instructional Designer will also serve as the primary point of contact between client and the subsidiary, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and timely delivery of training initiatives.
